After many months of a broken website, a broken heart, and actual depression breaking me down - I’m getting ready to get back into it.

Things are going to be different, but I haven’t entirely figured out what to do. What I have figured out is that I need to just do.

Mentally? A Magpie is returning as Magpie Podcast Review. Same spirit of “whatever I feel like” and “oh look shiny”, but with more clarity with the message: I am a podcast critic.

This is where my reviews will live now. They may come out weekly, I’m not sure if I’ll be doing a monthly roundup anymore, but I’ll be writing again. For now, each review will come straight to your inbox.

Wonderful subscribers, this is your chance to cheer me on (which I hope you will do) or unsubscribe (which I have no hard feelings about). I’ve moved over to Beehiiv to see what happens, we’ll figure out the rest from here.

The important thing is, this is where my podcast reviews will be. I’ll be using Punks, Pods, and Pours to write more about the “everything else” when it comes up.
